A few years ago, Dr. Sadikah performed a surgery for me with great success. Now, I’m going through IVF under her care, and the experience has been just as smooth and reassuring. She recently did my egg retrieval, which was timed and executed perfectly, followed by a hysteroscopy and everything went exactly as it should. Throughout it all, Dr. Sadikah has gone above and beyond, doing everything she can to give this IVF cycle the best possible chance of success.

She is knowledgeable, experienced, empathetic, and genuinely cares about you as a person as well as a patient. She values and respects your time and makes you feel supported every step of the way.

She diagnosed me with endometriosis and adenomyosis during our first consultation. I had already seen four doctors and undergone countless expensive procedures over three years. Having a doctor prioritize my well-being and validate my symptoms so quickly nearly brought me to tears. I was incredibly thankful to find someone who understood me.

However, I was still a bit apprehensive about the recommended treatment plan. Dr. Behbehani suggested excision surgery for the endometriosis and a hysterectomy to treat the adenomyosis. I had anticipated the possibility of excision surgery, but the idea of a hysterectomy was a shock. I never planned on having children, but the thought of removing my uterus was still difficult.

Dr. Behbehani took the time to answer all my questions and address my concerns until I felt ready to take the leap. It’s important to her that you're mentally prepared for the procedure, and I really appreciated that. (I should note that she offered to help with fertility options if I wanted to keep my uterus. The hysterectomy was simply the best choice for me.)

I’m now five weeks post-op, and I feel like a completely different person. My IBS symptoms have cleared up, I’m no longer experiencing cramps, the inflammation in my body has gone down (I feel and look trimmer), and the hip and groin pain I had has significantly improved—and continues to get better with physical therapy.

Overall, my physical and mental quality of life has drastically improved. I was so used to living a life focused on managing symptoms. I felt exhausted and hopeless—now I feel liberated. I know that sounds cheesy, but it’s truly how I feel.

I have been dealing with endometriosis for the last 25 years. I’ve been dismissed by so many doctors, hearing the typical “Pain is normal” or “Have you tried taking ibuprofen a few days before your cycle?” I’ve ended up in the ER multiple times because my family had to rush me there after I fainted from the pain. And I won’t lie—there were times when I got eye rolls from medical staff when I said my pain level was a 10 at check-in.

I went through it all—** bloating, extreme pelvic pain, leg pain, fatigue, migraines, etc—**and I never felt truly understood by anyone. That is, until I met Dr. Sadikah Behbehani.

From our very first consultation, I was blown away by her knowledge and the way she took the time to truly listen. I learned so much in just that one meeting. At the end of our conversation, she held my hand and told me, “It’s time to put yourself and your health first.” That was the moment I made the decision to go through with surgery.

The surgery went better than I could have imagined. Everyone on the team was incredibly kind and understanding. There was warmth and care all around. I was so nervous going in, but Dr. Behbehani held my hand and reassured me, telling me she would be there until I was asleep. I felt safe, protected, and truly cared for. And sure enough, as soon as I woke up from surgery, she was right there again.

I can’t even begin to explain how much she truly cares about her patients—you can feel it in everything she does. Her bedside manner is unmatched.

It’s been two months since my surgery, and while my cycles are still slightly painful (which is normal after surgery), I’ve never felt so energized. The chronic fatigue, bloating, and indigestion issues—gone. I feel better every single day, and I can’t thank Dr. Behbehani enough for her care. To me, she has been an angel.

Oh, and Maria—she is a sweetheart! She made all the paperwork and insurance processes so smooth and stress-free.
